KIKO Luxurious Lashes Mascara

Ciao,

volevo condivere con voi il mio ultimo acquisto KIKO, il mascara di cui s'è sentito tanto parlare: Luxurious Lashes Mascara.

Ho sentito tante opinioni in queste ultime settimane, chi diceva che ha lo scovolino troppo grande, chi diceva che l'applicazione è difficile, fatto sta che pero' tutte dicevano la stessa cosa: FAVOLOSO.....

Ovviamente mi sono incuriosita, io non uscirei mai di casa senza il mascara, è il mio prodotto must, quindi li provo un po' tutti, e non potevo non provare quest'ultimo.

Onestamente ho provato altre volte i mascara della Kiko, ma non mi sono mai piaciuti un granchè..

Alcuni promettevano ciglia folte, voluminose, ma personalmente non ho mai riscontrato queste cose purtroppo...Quindi, il mio mascara di tutti i giorni è divenuto il Dior Show..come l'ho provato me ne sono subito innamorata...costa la bellezza di 25 Euro circa..

Comunque, appena ho visto il mascara della Kiko, non mi sono per niente meravigliata, anzi.....è praticamente identico a quello di Dior..quindi lo scovolino non mi ha spaventata...è della stessa identica grandezza del Dior...

L'ho provato immediatamente, e caspita, a mia grande sorpresa crea di quelle ciglia meravigliose, FA-VO-LO-SE!!!!!!!! Voluminose e folte... vi metto queste foto solo per farvi capire di cosa sto parlando, perchè non ci sono parole per descriverlo....

Allora, la notate la differenza???? Guardando la foto, l'occhio sinistro ha il mascara Kiko mentre quello destro ha il Dior.... ebbene???? non ci sono parole se non... WWWWOOOWWWW!!!!

Qui c'è la differenza con altri scovolini di altri 2 mascara Kiko, non c'è proprio paragone, questo nuovo mascara è proprio un Signor Mascara, ah e ricordiamo che costa solamente 7 euro e 20 cent...

Speriamo ne facciano uno uguale identico nella versione waterproof!!!!!

Quindi per chi non l'avesse ancora acquistato....cosa state aspettando????????

I was cleaning out my closet, and while doing it, started to think about my fashion icons.

I think that all of us had and have a fashion icon "more or less" in our lives, or someone that we have captured their style from time to time, and made ours.

Of course our fashion icons change as time goes by, but I know of women, just by looking at them, who they are inspired by.

The following are my special icons. You can be a celebrity, but not an "icon".

An icon has that sort of "allure", that something special about them that makes them stand out from the rest.

You don't have to be a beauty to be an icon.

I can give you an endless a list of well know people, but not necessarly icons.

I am sure you have your icons...... Who are they?

Facendo un po di ordine nel mio armadio, ho iniziato a pensare a quelle che sono le mie icone di stile. Credo che tutte noi ne abbiamo avute e ne abbiamo, o semplicemente qualcuno a cui ci ispiriamo. Ovviamente le nostre icone si sono alternate nel corso degli anni. Spesso mi capita di vedere donne con stili riconoscibili, e vedendole, mi portano alla mente a chi vorrebbero assomigliare.

Le seguenti sono le mie icons speciali. Ci sono molte celebrità, ma non "icone".

Un'icona possiede "quell'allure", quel non so che di speciale che le distingue da altre.

Non devi essere una bellezza per essere un'icona.

Posso farvi un'elenco di personaggi conosciuti o meno, ma che non sono necessariamente delle icone.

Sharing with you Pesto recipe...

Hi there, this morning has been a busy one.

As you can see from this picture, I have beautiful basil plants which are growing at the speed of light. It is such a waste to let them grow out without making "pesto". When I lived in a water front condo outside Houston, I did not have a garden, and nostalgia of some things back from home was very strong. One of the things I missed not having in my garden was basil. We used to drive to downtown Houston to this very popular and expensive deli to get some things that were not available elsewhere. I remember paying something like USD 5.00 for some 20 leaves of basil, but the smell of them, was worth it !!!!!!! Getting back to us........ If you also have some basil plants, here is a recipe that will bring back the senses of summer during those long winter days.

Pick a generous amount of leaves, something like 300 grams (they are very light in weight), wash them and lay them on a canvas to dry, manage them carefully because they turn black easily.

While your leaves are drying, gather both ingredients and utensils.

In a bowl grate 150 grams of pecorino cheese and 200 grams of parmiggiano reggiano,

1 clove of garlic, 100 grams of pine nuts (if not available, walnuts will do) and 500 ml of good extra virgin olive oil.

We will be using a blender, but before using it, place your blender cup and blades in the freezer for a few minutes. As mentioned before, basil leaves are very delicate, the oxidize very quickly, a cold blender and blades will avoid this.

Take your cold blender and blade out of the freezer, place it in their working position and fill the cup with leaves, pine nuts, a pinch of salt, some cheese, garlic and pour some oil a bit at a time. Keep adding leaves and ingredients while blending till all ingredients are finished.

When everything is all blended, taste to see if amount of salt is ok. Pesto should be a bright luminous color. Now that everything is done, gather some small glass jars, pour your pesto inside, cap tightly and label it. It is ready to be used or frozen.

The best pasta to accompany pesto is “trofie” or “orecchiette”. These type of pasta can be found in good furnished Italian supply deli shops. If you cannot find this type of pasta, "linguini" will do just as well. Pesto is also very enjoyable on a bruschetta topped with thin slices of mozzarella cheese.

Enjoy it....... Maybe tonight for a porch-veranda candle light dinner. I make extra jars for friends and relatives.

It would be wonderful to share with you anything that might interest you or precious advices, such as what to wear to a wedding, what to cook for a special dinner or how to set your table.. and more. I have been in the fashion business for many years and have attended cat walks and showrooms of the majour worldwide designers. My advice would be from a friend to a friend, honest and direct.
