Omaggio a Pompei con inbarazzo ed indignazione - Homage to Pompei

Cari amici del blog, per noi poche parole per quello che è successo a Pompei.

Ci siamo già capiti !!!! Io provo rabbia, indignazione, vergogna e schifo verso chi doveva tutelare questo patrimonio dell'Unesco, e non lo ha fatto !!!!!!!

Pompei ci è stata consegnata dalla storia, era nostro (loro) dovere tutelarla, come per tutti gli altri siti archeologici che ci invidiano nel resto del mondo.

Questa è stata una catastrofe pre-annunciata. Gli addetti ai lavori, le sovraintendenze dei beni culturali, i comuni, la regione, se ne sonno tutti fregati..........

Tutti sapevano ma nessuno ha fatto niente. Il solito gioco allo scarica barile.

Come dice una famosa frase "domani è un'altro giorno".

Dove erano tutti i politici che avrebbero dovuto tutelare (come un buon padre di famiglia) questo tesoro sopravvissuto a millenni di anni, ma non all'indifferenza di molti ??????

Forse mi viene da pensare che erano impegnati in altre attività, come rincorrere escort, fare i piacioni e presenziare in varie comparsate in TV, sempre e solo per litigare. Ci siamo capiti, vero ????????

Ripeto quanto già detto, mi fanno schifo !

Che esempio stiamo dando alle future generazioni se non rispettiamo il passato?

Quando sarà ora di fare il passaggio delle consegne, cosa daremo alle future generazioni?

Cosa possono pensare di noi all'estero? Che immagine sta venendo fuori del nostro paese?

Oggi Pompei, domani ................

I am furious, ashamed for what has happened in Pompei.

This is a pre-announces catastrophe... everyone kneew of the "state of health" of Pompei, but no one took measures to prevent and preserve this classified world heritage from Unesco.

Pompei is everyones historic wealth.

Where were the responsible authorities, maybe too busy running after procacious escorts,

playing Casanovas and too busy appearing in various TV shows, often yelling at the opponent party and pointing fingers to one onother.

I am shamed to the rest of the world, I ask myself, what will the rest of the world think of us, what example are we giving to future generations if we neglect our past?

Pompei was given to us on a gold platter, and all we did, was mess it up.

We took so much out of it, thousands of tourist visiting the site, often in bad situations.

Very often the toilets did not work, some sites were not accessable to be seen, and often, without notice, closed for strikes.

How much patience was required from visiting tourists? But day after day, long cues of tourists we there, wanting to see this miracle of beauty from the past.

I cannot stop thinking that Pompei, like many other archiological sites, has been standing there like a gem for thousand of years, but unable to survive the negligence of those who should have taken good care of her, like a good parent.

Forgive those who neglected, who turned their faces on the other side.

They are simply stupid and unworthy of their positions.

I am furious, and sick to see this happening.

Ubfortunately Pompei is not alone, there are other thousands of situations that are neglected.

As someone once said.... Tomorrow is another day.
