The magic of Christmas....

Christmas time is one of the happiest period of the year.

The period before Christmas is a time to renew our chimney and door wreaths, take out our tree decorations that are stored neetly away in coloured boxes. Every decoration has a story of its own, some date back from school years, some were bought in far away places, and each year we have a new decoration to add to our present one. It is a joy to look at each decoration and comment on where it was bought. Some were purchased in July and August on beach locations, some in far and remote places of the earth, some in our favourite cities, like New York, Toronto, London, Paris, Madrid, Athens, Moscow......

The days that precede Christmas, is a time to think about the people we love, family, friends, pets, collegues with presents and tokens, just a reminder that we love and care about them.

Lets not forget during this festive period, the ones that are less fortunate !

Christmas brings out the children in us. The house is filled with lights, aroma of baked apple pies, cinnamon, ginger and orange scent.

The tree lights are turned on from morning till dawn, thus adding a sense of magic to the room, a good evergreen Christmas carrol, ..................and when you least expect it, snow flakes are falling.
